AES, October 20-23, New York City
The 131st Audio Engineering Society convention was held last weekend in New York City. Long seen as the place for audio professionals to network, attend educational seminars, and learn about the newest pro studio gear, the show also offered programming for musicians, including live interviews with Phil Ramone, Tony Bennett, and Ben Folds, star-studded music panels with Grammy-winning producers and engineers, and networking and career forums.
